Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a popular American actor and singer. Bell is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native born and raised by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Her parents are from Polish origin (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a skilled entertainer at an early stage. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell's mom introduced her to an agent when she was 13 and she was subsequently cast in television advertisements for newspapers and commercials. Then she began taking private acting lessons. Bell was on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell took part in the drama and music club in Shrine Catholic High School. She was the star as Dorothy in the school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went on to study in musical theater at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. in 2001 Bell went to university and decided to perform the part as Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credit with Pootie Tang in 2001. However, her scene cut, and her appearance only appears in the credits at the end. Bell made an appearance on Broadway for the first time in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
