Emily VanCamp, a Canadian actor. Emily VanCamp first came to prominence for her work with director Greg Berlanti, who cast the actress as a series regular in The WB series Everwood (2002-2006) and The ABC series Brothers & Sisters (2007-2010). VanCamp's performance as Emily Thorne in the ABC series Revenge in the period between 2011 and 2015, gained her more recognition. VanCamp appeared in The Fox series The Resident from 2018 until 2021. She also plays Sharon Carter / Agent 13 as well as Power Broker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and was in the movies Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War (2016) along with as the 2021 Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and What If ...? VanCamp began to be intrigued by acting when she went with her sister Katie at The Ladies Room film set. Following the discovery of an agent, and appearing in a couple of ads, she started to take Saturday acting classes. She was then cast as the lead character of the third part of an episode special of Are you scared of dark? a Canadian horror anthology television series for children. The episode titled "The Silver Sight" in which she played Elisha Curthbert who was 17 years old. VanCamp had a character in the film who attended only one scene, and didn't say a word.
